DUBAI, UAE Perla Lichi Gallery was honored to sponsor one of Dubai’s trendiest exclusive events February 20 at one of at Dubai s intimate and trendiest treasures. Dubai’s first ever “Pepsi Unplugged” event took place at Vii at the Conrad.
With red carpet at 8.00pm and performances starting at 10pm , the night hosted the who’s who of Dubai s elite mingling with Vii signature drinks and experiencing performances by renowned artists sanam Marvi and komal rizvi.
An exclusive intimate sufi performance limited to 300 exclusive guests, the night delivered an enchanting evening of great music and atmosphere. Media coverage included Pakistan s largest television network Hum TV and print coverage by Masala magazine and tribune edit.
After an eventful weekend in which Komal Rizvi mesmerized audiences at Karachi Kings’ Family Festival at Bahria Town Karachi, and her memorable half-time performance at the PSL match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi in Sharjah, Komal opened Pepsi Unplugged Dubai February 20. Komal is known for a unique blend of folk and contemporary music.
For the uninitiated, Unplugged is a series of invitation-only events, which are hosted at high-end venues with performances by Pakistan’s most established and recognized performers. The February 20 event marked the start of 2016’s Unplugged events and the first of an international edition.
